Down the river quite a ways from Girthfin's home, she sits alone, knife in one hand and an oval of wood in another. Humming quietly to herself, she chips away at the wood with the tip of her blade, carving into the flat surface a detailed replica of the scene before her. The outlines of the river and the trees are already set, and she works to fill in the foliage as carefully as possibly, only pausing to blow some wood dust off the carving.
