.slightly bowed head raises, eyes smile from above their pain as Arwen arises, speaking soft words.
.golden tresses lay tamed across her sloped shoulder and down the smooth line of her back, clad in etheral white gowns, silver knotted crown sparkling in the dim light of the hall.
.no lines mar the Lady's visage, no age takes her sweet bell tones from her throat. lying against the cream skin of her chest, hidden slightly behind her golden locks is the secret of her, and all of the elves eternal beauty and youth.
the diamond amulet
.her hand lifts from it's perch along the line of the chair rest, moves quietly and slowly to the dip of her throat, softly running long pale fingers over the charm resting there. as her hand is lifted, fire light glances off her slim finger, a single ring there, silver and ornately twisted, specifically made for its position, to grace the hand of the Lady Galadriel.
.a turn as her hand falls to its original place, look to the young elf sitting at her father's side. be she her grandmother, no age difference could be wrought from simply sight. the unlined face of the Lady of the Golden Wood shone just as brilliantly as the face of her Granddaughter, her eyes were just as bright. ageless youth was their gift, and their race bore it well. through all the ages of the world they existed, and yet...
Arwen, a dark time has come upon the Elves
.lips parted, silvery light tones escape, forming into words of the ancient elven language, sparkling on the wind like diamonds tossed into sunlight, floating like butterflies caught in a warm summer's breeze.
Rivendell and Lothlorien, the two cornerstones of Elven situation, have not faltered. The Golden Wood is as safe as it has eternally been, guarded carefully by my archers. Rivendell is pristine, timeless and perfect. Yet, the age of the Elves is passing. Long ago, we were dominant, and people knew of and flocked to us. As time passes, though our race feels it not, the world changes. And this change is coming quickly, even in Elven terms of time
.Sky hued orbs glance across the face of her Granddaughter, registering all nuances of emotion crossing her fair features. Much the the Lady's delight, no change is shown, she absorbs all patiently, waiting.
The dawn of the age of Men is upon us, and your Aragorn shall play a most important role within it
.it is then that emotion crosses the young elven face, and the Lady immediately changes, new words replacing the old, recovering from what had been said...and what had been yet to say.
I need not say more. Much can be said at a later time. And yet, I see not joy within your eyes, for they mirror the darkness of my own. Fear not, my granddaughter, for Aragorn shall return to Rivendell
.slim hands grasp chair, youthful form raised from her seat to stand tall and regal before each of the elves, one male and one female. crown once again glints, tension draining from the visage of the Lady. slight smile graces peach lips, crimson flush stains pale cheeks.
He shall return to you
.reassurance given, she extends one hand to Lord Elrond, ring glancing against the sunlight streaming from outdoors, motion to forget what had been said before the child, and return her to ways she was familiar with.
Away with you Arwen. You are only just home, and have must seeing to do before the sun falls to the west this evening. Explore your changing home, dear girl, for your father and I will be much the same when you find us again this evening
.glance to the young elf, and she turns, locks cascading down her slim back in a waterfall of pale blond, as she regally exits the Hall, glance to Lord Elrond at her back.
No more need be discussed now. It is a matter for later. I shall stay for some time, if that agrees with you
