So........Ted Williams is barely cold and the fight has started....his son wants his father frozen or at least his DNA........The daughter is sickened by this (I am with her)..and the third child has remained silent (so far)....Baseball players will ask for more money next month or they will strike...I think I may beat them to the punch...just think of how much money we spend to give them more money....I for one could clothe a 3rd world country with my Braves jerseys, t-shirts, McGwire jerseys etc...Not to mention the cups etc....These men make more in a year than most of us will see in a lifetime and they want more...Well, guess what?!......so do.......ha ha ha....don't we all..........I think if they strike....so should we.......There are real people that work everyday...without us......this country really could not function.....ask anyone who lives in Tennessee......when the state workers were shut down for a few days....These men are NOT essential....I know we don't like to admit that...but, it is tree.....Our firefighters, police officers, air traffic controllers.....They are essential...Yet, when they ask for a raise......we behave as if they are crazy.....OK......I know this is a rant...all I am saying is.....if they strike....to Hell with them.........Gina
