I do like that Drieffort was mentioned though. He was my defaul case in point when anyone would mention Arod being over-paid. Drieffort signed the week before Arod did, and my argument was (If Drieffort is worth 55 mil over 5 years, Arod at 25 mil a year is a bargain"
I also think that Darren Oliver shouldn't have been on there. I don't care if he was making 15 mil this year, the fact that getting him meant the Red Sox got to get rid of that worthless albatros Carl Everett, who has exactly ZERO fans here.
