Happy New Year Everyone. New Year's Eve is my LEST fave holiday.........Too much expectation to have a good time. This year I was at one of THE parties......You know the kind you think New Year's is all about from the hype....They had the balloon's on the ceiling...the band, the dancing, fancy food, ice sculptures, champagne.......and you know what........I looked at a friend of mine.....and said....I shouldn't admit this...but, I had rather be home in my sweats watching Dick Clark........kinda sad, huh? But, it was the truth...... New Years Eve basically sux no matter......I have been home in my sweats, I have had the romantic New Years......just me and that special someone.....and the big parties....I think next year I will just pretend that it is not happening............OK......I will get off my soapbox...but, I just think New Years is one of those times where we try to FORCE too much good times on ourselves and it bites us in the back...........
