A few things.

1. I feel like if the boosters, players and coaches that make these violations were forever banned and fined strongly these violations would stop.........rather than a bunch of young boys that never participated being punished.

2. Mike Tyson needs to be banned FOREVER from all sports.

Read below to see why I think Mr. Tyson needs to go....there is no way this guy thought up this on his own.

FBI asked to probe nose-biting assault as hate crime
Lisa Rogers
Times Staff Writer
February 2, 2002

The FBI will be asked to investigate an assault as a hate crime after a teen's nose was bitten off.
Sheriff James Hayes said Friday in a news conference he will ask the FBI to investigate the incident, which happened Tuesday night at a gas station on U.S. 11 near the Etowah-DeKalb county lines.
Sixteen-year-old Jason Smith underwent the first of several reconstructive surgeries to repair his nose at Gadsden Regional Medical Center Friday.
Smith, a student at Collinsville High School, was pumping gas about 7:30 p.m. at County Line Beverage when he was approached by two men in a car. The passenger told Smith he wanted $5, Hayes said. When Smith told him he did not have it, the man allegedly tripped him, threw him to the ground, then bit off the left side of his nose, Hayes said.
Michael Dewayne Jackson, 22, of Collinsville, was charged Thursday with first-degree assault after he turned himself in at the Etowah County Detention Center. His bond originally was set at $10,000, but Hayes said he now has asked a judge to reconsider and set the bond higher.
"I've never seen anything like this," Hayes said. "Especially, when it was not necessary."
Sheriff's Department investigator Tommy Wiggonton said someone at the station was able to recover Smith's nose, but it could not be reattached.
Wiggonton said Jackson was charged with first-degree assault, according to the law, because of the intent to disfigure another person.
Smith's age does not enhance penalties.
"But that really doesn't matter," Hayes said. "This is atrocious."
Despite the age difference in Smith and Jackson, the two apparently were acquainted, Wiggonton said. Jackson worked at Jack's Hamburgers in Collinsville and he and Smith possibly knew each other from there.
Wiggonton said Jackson gave no explanation why he bit off Smith's nose, but denied asking for money.
Jackson, who is black, told police that Smith, who is white, made a racial slur to him to trigger the incident, Wiggonton said.
Smith and other witnesses however, said that was not true, Wiggonton said.
