Subject: Do you believe objects can bring bad luck?

My father passed away in June of 2006. Ever since then I have been having a chain of really bad luck. Such as... I purchased an almost new car and had several things go wrong with it. I purchased a home and it ended up being a money pit. My husband got in a car accident, my daughter got a class 2 concussion and we got ripped off by a contractor. Now the Irs states I owe $2300 for an alleged mistake on my father's 2005 tax return. My father had what is somewhat like a voodoo doll that someone gave him to give him good luck. However I don't feel this brought him good luck because he suffered quite extensively with prostate cancer and passed away of urinary tract hemorrhaging. Also during the last year of his life he suffered from altiemers disease and dementia and was in and out of mental hospitals. Anyways, I have this doll and I'm thinking that it may be inflicting bad luck on me. I haven't gotten rid of it because I was told that you have to be careful how you dispose of things like that. It could make things even worse. I'm looking for someone who can tell me how to dispose of this doll and relieve me without any consequences. Thanks
