Absolutely...there is little doubt that the friend would not know what likely brought it on, should it truly be anything at all. Whatever the case, I have known of a few incidents in which the "possessed/tormented" have no conscious knowledge of any invoking or provoking. Though, honestly, based upon my own personal experience I find little use of a exorcist or medium. Only to my experience, naturally. I have found that, invariably, should the problem revolve around one person, then, that one person usually holds the solution.
