I live in La Grande and Hot Lakes was sold to a lady from the area for $1.5 million. They are currently tearing down parts of it and they are trying to remodel it. It is a very creepy place that is said to be extremely haunted. I know many people that have been there and they have some extreme stories about it. It was a hotel, hospital and it was also a insane asilum. There is a town a few miles away from it called Union and in the town there is a museum that has some stuff in it from HOt Lakes. It is a very interesting place for people who care to find out more about Hot Lakes.
