I first off have to say that the Holly Hotel is definetly haunted. It may have the old qualities that may come acrose to be the reason its haunted and it may also look scary and old but the main reason i trully belive its haunted is because I live in Holly Michigan and I have been to the Holly Hotel many,many times and I would consider teh hotel very haunted with spirits and such. Everytime I walk into that hotel you feel somthing. Not good,not bad, just a feeling. A feeling of death. A feeling of someone watching you everywhere you turn. Its not scary but you dont feel comfortable. You dont belive me?Well I'll tell you of afew experiences I have had with this victorian hotel. The first time i went to the Holly Hotel i was about 11 years of age and i went there on a nice day. I had Ester brunch there with some of my family. the moment i walked in i was alittle uneasy because at the time i was scared of the stories i had heard before i had gone. But it turned out to be nothing. I had lunch and of corse took a peek arund some corners and just snooped for ghostly sightings. I felt so amazing being there because of all the rumors of phanomonon sightings. as i walked around I had you know been alittle apprehensive about going alone but i got over that fear and decided i would go to the restroom and just look at all of teh pix'z on the wall as i walked up the old stairway. and of corse nothing unusual happened but the momebnt i got upstairs you could feel somones presence with you there at the hotel, watching every move you make. it was amazing but alittle creepy too. but that was only one story. NOw you all are thinking "well that doesnt sound too creepy" but heres a story that will knock you socks off. lol
here it goes. I had went to the holly hotel for a...well like a seance thing. and my mother thought it was a great oppurtunity for me to go and see if there was anything well ghostly abou the hotel. and boy did i find somthing out when i went. the seance was held in the lower level(basement) of the holly hotel and i was alittle hesitant because i hear that there are stone walls down there and that stones hold souls of the deseased and that stones are the key to holding spirits and such sstories. so of corse i was alittle nerveos but i was soon ok wth it because i felt this was my chance to see what really the holly hotel was all about. and i sure did. the moment we walked down stairs i had to run to the restroom because i felt pain i felt sorrow and mostly i felt death! it was horrifying i didnt know why i bursted out crying but i did and it was amazingly terrible because i felt liek there were trapped souls and i felt tears from these people(or ghosts)!!!! it was just evil to feel these people crys and i could feel the pain from these (trapped) souls i just didnt know what to do so i cried! and i couldnt stop! it was horrible and i have only been to the holly hotel once after that. its not that i dont want to its just that its hard to be thre when you feel sorrow for these ghosts that have dies in fires or killed etc. its just hard. but all i know is that the Holly Hotel is haunted and if you ever get the oppurtunity to experience this amazing hotel take it. You wont regret it becaus eyou will be apart of history the moment you walk into, the Holly Hotel.
