I agree to all of Mornin's answers, except one:

3. a fast-trotting horse sometimes has all four feet
off the ground at one time ~ True

I believe this one is actually false. At a fast GALLOP the feet may all come off the ground, but trotting can never get that fast... at least I don't think so lol ^_^

ok number one is True...because each foot ends in one very long toe.a horse stands,walks,trots,canters,and gallops on the tips of there toes.a horses foot reaches about half way up its leg.what looks like a knee to us is really the ankle.

Even my mom diagree's I've never heard of a horse waling on it's toes..................... It walks on it's hoof and that is a big toe nail but horses put wait down on that and not on there toes. Realy I've never heard of that. :) well just to say I didn't know :/
I've lived around horses all my life and have never heard that one well thanxs for the quiz it was cool :)

thats what it says in the book...but what you said is true...the hoof is twice the size of the toe insice the hoof...
