Thundering noises erupt as heavy hooves slam the ground, galloping hard with all his might he sees the mare beside him, pulling a another burst of speed he manages to get a few paces ahead... he can see Summer Sun watching them, and he proudly raises his head. The motion slows him slightly though, and he decides lower it again, working harder than ever on his speed...

She watched him gain then slow again she decided now was the time and she whinned high and clear throwing her beautifully shaped dial jumping forward. her legs were a blur below her as her pounded gallop took her farther and farther ahead. As she ran forward, a dappled grey streak, her eyes twinkled at the stud as she flashed by him gaining closer and closer to the finish line. . .
