Though he leads, he can quickly see Blue Flame catching up. he turns his head slightly, and of course in this way he doesn't see the rock. Tripping over it, he stumbles and tumbles onto the ground, the mares' hooves beating past him.

He stands. He is more embaressed than any can imagine... what must his mares think of him now?! A klutz?! Tis unfair... he surely would have won the race with his speed, but for the rock. And now the shame to add to losing!

He hangs his head and begins to trot off...

(OOC - Hehe, that's one way of solving it! He's not REALLY a klutz hehehe. Now you all can comfort him!! LOL...)

He feels slightly better at Angel's nuzzling and worry. Obviously they still liked him! He chuckled softly, before returning the friendly nuzzle. He wondered, had she dropped from the race? If so then... well then Blue Cloud must have won! He looks at the filly, his eyes proud even though she is not his own. A wonderful filly... she would grow to be a perfect mare... he smiles slightly and then moves back to Fallen Angel, lipping her muzzle gently...

Although not the boasting type,the silver filly prances around for a few paces,then settles down and goes to the stud to make sure he's okay.She whuffs at him and gives him a friendly nudge in the shoulder.

Smiling at the filly - no, the young mare - he felt even bettr. His shame evaporated completely, and he nuzzled each one of the comfroting femmes in turn...
