Unruley

She yanks her neck away from the mare's bite, blood trickling from the wound. However, her jugular vein is intact. She lets it bleed for a moment, then heals it. She sinks her teeth into the mare's neck in the same place as before, yet again seeking the jugular vein. She releases and then grabs elsewhere with her teeth, ripping at the mare's flesh, rejoicing in the taste of fresh blood in her mouth. Her leg had just barely escaped Unruley's bite, and so was unharmed. Head is tucked down below the mare's hits, dodging the main bulk of them, but many hit their mark. These she dares not allow to bleed, and heals them. She will deal with any infections which might develop later. She dodges aside, but the first buck hits her anyway - just not where Unruley intended. Instead of her neck, the buck hits her barrel. The second one misses completely. She swallows the pain of the bite to her neck and breaks away. No nerves are hit, but the wound bleeds. She dodges the buck sent at her shoulder. Her silence is enough to unnerve Satan himself. She forces back a chuckle of amusement at a certain memory - one where she had tested that particular theory. As the mare licks her wounds, Nightingale charges swiftly, too swift to be seen even if captured on video and slowed down, and rams into the mare full-force. The charge is strong enough to topple a mountain. She latches onto the mare's neck, incisors sinking into the mare's neck, seeking the jugular vein, and then she pulls away, taking a chunk of the mare with her. In the blink of an eye, she in back, rearing and striking at the mare's head. She turns on her Mage-Sight, and identifies Unruley's position and actions by the outline her mage-sight gives her. She dodges the charge as well as the rear, and pulls away, standing, muscles tensed, ready to dodge - and attack. No sweat dares mar her masculine neck; her blood runs fierce as ever. Her energy remains; her strength persists. After all, she has had - oh, she doesn't even remember anymore, it has been so long - to build up her endurance, and thus she has done. This is to her what a mere jog for a furlong would be to Man O' War.
Suddenly, she takes the offensive. She disappears and appears behind Unruley, yanking at the ley-lines of the land right and left as she repeats the maneuver twice over. The second time, she appears behind Unruley, right in her blind spot, and takes a chunk out of her rump, disappearing before a kick could possibly be innitiated. She appears in front of Unruley this time, in the other blind spot, and rears, onyx hooves striking out, aimed t'wards Unruley's eyes. The strikes are carefully placed, and yet all over. No sooner would Unruley dodge one than she'd be in the path of another, no matter how swift she is. Nightingale whirls, sending a buck straight at the mare's chest, then disappearing again, and appearing right beside Unruley for a mere instant, making a move as if to half-rear and strike - then disappearing again, and appearing on the other side, this time actually striking. She disappears again, appearing a mere few strides to the side, then chareges, too swift for the eye to follow - and the next thing anyone watching knows, WHAM! Masculine frame makes impact, slamming into Unruley with force that could crumble a mountain, as well as the one next to it, and level New York City and San Francisco both with the power left over. She disappears again, and then appears once again behind Unruley, in the mare's blind spot, and taking another chunk out of the mare's rump, and then disappears again, appearing next to Unruley's neck, then sinks her teeth into it again, seeking the jugular vein, and SO close to hitting it...then breaks away, whirling in front of Unruley, and rearing, striking out once more at the mare's eyes. Greased lightning with twice the speed wouldn't be able to dodge the hits. She whirls, cantering a few strides away, then whirls again. yet again, her speed is too swift for a videa slowed down a thousand times to show, and suddenly she impacts 'pon Unruley again, then disappears almost the instant she hits. She disappears, appearing on unruley's left, half-completes a half-rear but not htting yet, then appears on Unruley's right, and completes the move, striking the mare's barrel. The pain on the right when expected on the right would be enough to confused a thousand professors with their intelligence combined. She disappears again, and then appears several strides away from Unruley, muscles tense, ready to dodge. And all through this, that unnerving silence remains; not a sound is uttered.
