Sorry Another Atheist, but your understanding of history doesn`t go back far enough. In that, the notion of FREEDOM wasn`t born in the US, but rather developed through JC`s teachings, which added compassion to a world that had none. Also it needs to be recognized that JC exercised free speach, and lost his life as a result...It`s a pitty that people pay so much attention to Christian religion and the whole bible perse, but when it comes to Christ`s OWN words, these teachings hardly seem to get noticed. I guess this accounts for the many problems in the world.
