Thanks for your support (whatever the reasons). Local rivalry dictates that no Town fan would really want Cables to win the League even though we have a lot of friends both on and off the field at Hope Street. Our defeat at Clitheroe meant they are not out of it and I think another Town loss tomorrow will keep things intertesting. Let's say I won't be too unhappy if Mossley win at Knowsley Road. Maybe Town can lose out by the odd goal in seven!

As for your comments about John Cawthorne (I presume that's who you are referring to). I have spoken to JC on a number of occasions both at Mossley and Hoghton Road and it's a pity there aren't more people who do as much for their clubs and for non-league football in general.

Insulting comments have no lace on this, or any other board.
