Your comments 'players that turn contenders into championship winners' is spot on. Town have been far from miserable failures over recent seasons but if the ultimate prize of promotion is what all is measured against (and it is by many) then we and Jim failed.

Quality players don't always win leagues or cups. We've had some great players at Town in recent years but you're right in saying we have lacked something. Probably the right combination of quality personnel.
