Subject: Bert Taylor

Sadly, Prescot Cables Life President Bert Taylor passed away on Thursday of this week following a short illness. Bert was a stalwart of the Prescot Club and very well known on Merseyside and beyond. A footballing gentleman!

He will be sadly missed by the club and non-league football, our commiserations go to his family, friends and club.

There will be a minutes silence before today's KO in memory of Bert and former Town Secretary Bill Richardson whose funeral took place last Monday.
