First of all your right, JD and Kingy are the right men for the job and although we were disappointed with our start things have improved over the past few weeks (nine games without defeat - five wins four draws). Only time will tell if we can make an impact this season!

We've mainly kept last season's squad with a nnumber of additions. Current ex-Burscough players in the squad - Ged Nolan, Stephen Leahey, Gareth Evans, Mike Mason, Tommy Molloy - not that many and all doing well.

Tuesday's game should be very interesting. Burscough should be favourites and for Town it's the start of three successive Cup games with the League Cup and Vase to follow. I'd personally be happy with a hard fought encounter whatever the result. What we don't want is anything spoiled by injury, or poor decisions! Whoever wins should be guaranteed a bumper crowd against Liverpool.

Look forward to seeing you Tuesday (weather permitting)
