Subject: Best & worst of 2002

As the year of 2002 comes to an end I would like to wish all my fellow Town fans , to all the players who have worn the red and white shirt of "THE TOWN", and to all the club officials. And Oh Yes!! all other non-league followers who have stopped to talk to me on my travels. I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST FOR THE NEW YEAR.

For a bit of fun I would like to share with you my best and worst of 2002.

BEST PRE SEASON DAY OUT...
Blackpool Mechanics in the summer it was a really hot day . I left the wife and kids at pleasure beach while I watched the match then caught up with them later. Everyone was happy all round. Please Mr secratery can we have the same again this summer with the same weather.

FRIENDLIEST CLUB...
Arlesey Town has to be one of the nicest clubs I have visited, nice set up, everyone was so friendly .I suppose it helpped them as they beat us 1-0 in the F.A. vase. Its one place I would like to go again.

WORST CUP DEFEAT...
I suppose I can live with getting beat in the F.A.cup to that team from Bratford ,Yakshire (ECCLESHILL UNITED)
Or even this seasons early knockout in the vase by Flixton.
But the one i de-tested was last seasons defeat in the League cup,Semi final against prescot.

WETTEST AWAY DAY...
For me this has to be Mossley it rained non stop all day

DERBY DAY...
PRESCOT CABLES, SKEM UNITED, WARRINGTON TOWN and even ASHTON TOWN, LEIGH RMI, not to forget HALTON RUNCORN. Each one of these non league teams is right next to our town, and they could all be said to be a derby match but for me Prescot has to be the big one.

Any way thats just a few of mine hope some of you will express yours.

TO everyone who has read this HAVE A VERY HAPPY AND MERRY NEW YEAR.....!!
