We've had a good days weather today been very windy and dry (apart from the last hour or so when it been raining) and the pitch was excellent on Saturday v Maine Road.

Our Rugby League counterparts 'Saints' are at home this evening v Widnes in a friendly so this may well have a bearing on the condition of the playing surface. However, with full time groundstaff and no rain I tink we should be OK. Following your 'thrashing' on Saturday you must be under a bit of pressure. If you were to lose Wednesday at our place are you out of it?
