Many good programs out there, Dreamweaver, Frontpage, I personally use Notepad. From what I see at the moment , it looks just fine as its going using Word. I use a program called paintshop pro, I think it can be downloaded off the net, its good for reducing the size of gifs and jpgs to a size which lets then load in a browser very quickly without reducing the quality of the picture. Also, have a look at how other sites display, you can cut and paste code etc if you like the look of a page. Main thing is just to keep playing around until you're happy with it.

Lastly, install Netscape Navigator on your pc, because then you will get to see what anyone using that software will see, and therefore be able to correct any mistakes etc b4 you upload it.
