�the galloping mustang twists his head around ever so slightly as to eyeball the distance he had put between the two. unfortunately, she was a Thoroughbred, thus faster technically. in reality, though, he was a Mustang and could likely outrun her on rough terrain that his hard, sturdy hooves were used to the wear and tear of. after all, his lineage had been wild from the beginning, no taming/escaping involved. nevertheless, she was gaining which caused quite some worry. he was nay tired, merely had a shorter stride. stretches his neck out flat and pins back his red-tinted ears to become more aerodynamic, thus faster. would it help?�
