Going into this season I honestly thought that this team had a shot at earning a home playoff spot. Instead, this team has found a way to drop to nearly the bottom of the league. Could you imagine our record if this team was playing in the old WCHA?

All good things come to an end and it is time for a change. The current state of the program is an embarrassment to the tradition and legacy that has been built over the last 50 years.

I have supported this program for many years. I have been frustrated with the direction of this team for the past couple years and this season has taken that frustration to an entirely new level. How frustrated have I been? For the first time in almost 20 years I have decided to not attend some games this season. In addition, my wife and I have decided that we will not be renewing our season tickets next year. I have vested many many things into this program and it pains me to come the realization that I have been put into this position.

To the administration of BSU, if you don't think a change is warranted......attend tonight's game and count the open seats. Then ask yourself "is this what we expected when we decided to go D1?" Look around at all the empty seats in our world class arena and ask yourself "is this how we imagined our home ice atmosphere to be like?" The ultimate decision is a difficult one to approach but is time to make it. Please don't continue to flush the tradition of BSU hockey down the toilet. This program deserves better. This University deserves better. This community deserves better.
