It's clear this team does not have the talent to compete at a consistently high level. In TS's defense this is the youngest team he has had since he took over the job. I felt at the beginning of the season that the team was 2 years away from competing-that will only happen if the team gets physically stronger-they just do not have the size and strength to camp in front of the net and bang away. With the defensive style most teams play, that is the only way you consistently score. The discouraging fact is the team has not improved over the year (obviously UAH has) and they consistently play poor first periods. Personally I think the best coach in the nWCHA is Hastings at Mankato, they will be a power year in and year out. As much as I like TS, maybe it is time to shake things up. The casual fan will not continue to attend. With the "triplets" coming next year, that will be the make or break season in my opinion. Many very upset folks last night.
