Woman's mobile number advertised as strip-a-gram line

A woman may take legal action after a phone directory listed her mobile number in a strip-a-gram advert.

Lisa Addenbrooke, from Western Australia, says she's been receiving calls from people wanting strippers.

She says directory producers Pacific Access offered to take over the number but said she'd initially have to pay for the transfer.

The company refused to discuss the case.

Ms Addenbrooke says the company did promise to refund the cost at a later date.

But she told news.com she doesn't want to pay for the transfer because she hasn't done anything wrong.

She says a caller eventually told her the number was listed in a Yellow Pages advert for a Gold Coast strip-a-gram service offering acts like Dirty Doctor and Cowboy Elvis.

She says callers asked her questions like: 'What clothes have you got on?', 'Can you take your clothes off?' and 'What type of bra have you got on?'

A company spokeswoman says: "If anybody has anything like this happen, we will work with them to resolve it in any way that benefits them."
