[.the chestnut bronc pulled with all his force against the halter and Samantha. the fight wasn't about lead stallyon anymore, it was about protection of his love. the well formed legs struck out beneath the fiery bod - he had to get away. a deep, white lather began to bead, then cover the crimson huen canvas, his eyes rolled back, which revealed the whites. stained ivories clicked irritably and a harsh snort erupted from the papery thin nasals. a sqeaul rang from deep within his chest - he must 'kill' hightower, now! the carven head was tossed violently up and down, the pair of tuliped ears laced against the regal-like skull. pride was no longer a self-assured, easy-going creature, he wanted revenge and would take it anway he could! hurt someone, anyone who got in his way!.]
