Hey, scratch the CD player holder. No one is going to be able to breakdance with a CD player in their pocket :P And as for your clothing line, don't use TOO much padding, anything that gets in the way isn't good for breaking, i think if there is going to be padding at all, you need to have it in the Hips, Knees and elbows. And as for materials, Polyester tends to not breath well, use a Nylon or other breathable material for the outer, and possibly another material mesh for the inside, it'd be quite difficult making the clothes reversible, due to padding, and keeping the clothes breathable and comfy. You should also make the pants legs with velcro or drawstring adjustments possibly. There are many times where a pant cuff may get in the way, or want to pull up the pant legs to cool down or whatever. DON't use too many buttons or zippers in the pockets, landing on one hurts like a... well.. it hurts.
As for colour schemes, if you don't plan on making A LOT right away, you'll be most likely making them to order right? Make a prototype design, then when showcasing your design, tell them what colours you can customize, ect. That way if they want theri "crew" colours or what have you it's possible. And if your making custom clothes, you can even opt to do embroiding for a bit more.
Anyways, i am interested in seeing your designs, E-mail me at cojyla@yahoo.com or ICQ# 33053783
