My dad's side of the family are avid hunters, and they really believe it's a sport. They even live in a county where the schools are given off the first week of hunting season because kids were getting mistaken for deer and shot at their bus stops! I tell them there that there is nothing sporty about sitting in a tree all day and shooting a defenseless animal. But I agree that we'd never see Mulder hunting.

I thought Mulder looked kind of gross at the end of Deep Throat when he was running in that maroon sweatshirt thing. I'm anti sleeveless shirts on men anyway. I think it looks weird.

I'm not sure Mulder would have ever played football, but we know he likes it since in Irresistable he dragged Scully all the way to Minnesota to see a Redskins game. Of course, he is from New England, and thanks to the Kennedys I have this vision of New Englanders playing a game of family touch football in their backyards, though Mulder certainly didn't have the family dynamic for that.

I couldn't see Mulder playing golf either. Golf is a game for those with time on their hands. It takes like four hours to play! To defend golf, I play and it is a heck of a lot of fun. It's SO much harder than it looks! Speaking of Tea and golf, she was on the cover of T magazine, which is apparantly the official magazine of women's golf, last month. She looked really good.
