That's never a good thing to do. Speak badly about your spouse in public! There was a flap awhile back about Ray Romano doing a standup act and saying some pretty nasty things about his real life wife. What he said was printed but I can't remember what it was now. But I remember that it sounded really mean. I guess he thinks it the comedian thing to do, making jokes about family, but as I recall his wife was not pleased.
