I agree, the ratings system is a mess! It seems like about 85 percent of all movies are rated PG-13 and as a parent it just creates a nightmare.
There is just such a wide divergence of what's considered acceptable. I've watched some PG-13 movies with my kids that I couldn't figure out why they weren't rated G. . .if there was *anything* inappropriate in these movies it must have been just one word that I missed or something. Then I stumble across something like "Zoolander" and practically every scene has them doing or saying something I don't want my kids exposed to.
