One I know of is Pat Metheny, the jazz guitarist. They are good friends. I think Pat might live in New York. Of course there's his childhood friend Jason Beghe who was in Darkness Falls. I still see his name crop up in the credits in movies and tv.

DD got together recently with writer/director Kevin Smith. He wanted DD in his last movie but DD's schedule with XF wouldn't leave room.�But he and Kevin apparently hit it off well. And then there's Mimi Rogers. Don't forget her! ;-) I think DD tends to make friends with whomever he works with. Orlando Jones from Evolution was invited to DD and Tea's for Thanksgiving last year.

DD probably has a lot of friends in New York so he doesn't see them as often. Maybe working actors or just regular folks. I know he got together with his old basketball buddies in NY to play when he was bqacvk there. He probably doesn't hang around with a lot of the A list celebs. He seems to prefer just being with his family and a few close friends when he's not working.
