I got this off the AP Entertainment Wire at work. Not sure how accurate it is, but thought I'd go ahead and post it here:

A: You’ll see him soon in an ‘‘X-Files’’ film, ‘‘The X-Files: Resist or Serve.’’ He’ll also be in a film based on the writings of noir specialist James Ellroy: ‘‘My Dark Places.’’ And he’s preparing to start production on the film ‘‘Connie and Carla,’’ opposite Nia Vardalos and Toni Collette; the two actresses star as actresses working as drag queens. Duchovny co-stars as a man mysteriously drawn to Vardalos’ character.
