Subject: Life With Bonnie kid gets a special treat from DD

At her website http://www.samanthabrowne-walters.com she talks about her contract not being renewed with no explanation and if you click on her "Guess What" link she talks about meeting DD and Robin Williams (who also guest starred on Bonnie) on the set of his House of D movie.

Here's what she said:
(check out that last paragraph. Lucky kid!)

Remember the two episodes of Life With Bonnie that David Duchovny played Johnny Volcano? Who wouldn't. Well, David is directing a movie, The House of D, here in New York City and my Dad was working background on it. David recognized him from Life With Bonnie and he was totally astonished that I wasn't on the show anymore. He kept saying,"But she's so good." (Which was really nice to hear.) He knew I was probably feeling pretty sad so David asked if I could come to the set the next day for a visit. So I did and I re-met him! He's a very nice guy and I got to watch the filming and listen on headphones as he directed. Thank you to Patricia for looking after us, Billy for his monitor, and Murph for giving me the last pair of headsets.

Then totally out of the blue, ROBIN WILLIAMS showed up on the street corner with the people who had stopped to watch. (I think he lives his whole life improvising.) People started calling their friends and relatives on their cells and then putting Robin on the phone and he'd talk to them.
Then Robin saw me and remembered me from Life With Bonnie so I got to re-meet him as well. He didn't know I wasn't doing the show anymore either and was surprised I was in New York. He followed me over when I went back to my Mom and he told her he didn't go back to TV very often. Because with what the network does to you, you don't know whether to laugh or not. And you have to watch out for guys in suits. He also said he was sorry he hadn't spent more time with us during the Life With Bonnie shoot. I think TV makes him uncomfortable though he did have a good time doing LWB.

All of a sudden it was my bedtime and I had to go home. So when I went to thank David he gave me a big hug and a kiss on the cheek!!!!!!
That's the excitement for this week. I hope you enjoyed hearing about it.

Love, Sam
