we didn't even get "Connie and Carla" in the town where I live, although I think that was considered a pretty "mainstream" movie. We got "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" and it was by the same writer/producer.
So there is absolutely zero chance that we're going to get "House of D" here. I *might* get a chance to see it in a theater in Houston, if it's playing when we're there in June and I can persuade my kids that going to a big movie theater in a big city is a legitimate "vacation" activity. Otherwise, I'll have to wait 'til it comes out on DVD.
My family teases me about watching movies with DD in them only because he's in them, but I've actually enjoyed most of his movies. I even liked "Playing God", although most people didn't. On the other hand, the one DD movie that I absolutely did NOT like was "Kalifornia". . .although that's apparently the role that led to DD being Chris Carter's first choice for Mulder when he filming the pilot of XF. . .so I guess I should be glad he was in it.
