Subject: David Duchonvy in "The Hulk"?

I was recently surfing the web and came across a couple of different stories that say DD is the leading contender to take over the role of Dr. David Banner in the next movie version of "The Hulk".
Umm. . .sorry, I love DD, but I just can't see this! For one thing, such a "cartoony" character seems beneath his dignity. For another, at 45, DD seems a bit old to play this character.
