Subject: DD and TL's marriage

I wonder why DD and TL's marriage has lasted nearly ten years, while most other celebrities who got married during the 1990s have long since split?
I have a couple of theories on this:
1.) They both have about the same level of fame. While DD and TL are both fairly well-known actors, neither is a superstar. Apparently one of the main reasons the Ryan Phillippe/Reese Weatherspoon marriage faltered was because she is a bigger star than he is. Some gossip mags speculated that this was one of the factors in the Brad Pitt/Jennifer Aniston split, too. While he was a movie star she was "merely" a TV star, albeit on one of the most popular shows on TV.
2.) They got married first, then conceived their children. I'm not trying to be overly moralistic here, but numerous studies have shown that husbands and wives need some "alone time" as a MARRIED couple before they bring kids into the equation. Folks who give birth to -- or even just conceive -- their first child prior to marriage generaly have higher divorce rates than those who do things in the more traditional order.
Any other theories?
