Just about everybody whose GOT rocks hangin between their legs has gotten some in the past couple of books. Cept for Nat...and he's been pummeled so much, his rocks may just be sand right about now. LOL

And we're STILL left wonderin about Micah's "rocks". All we know about for SURE is his pea-shooter.

Somebody's taken a chisel to Richard's "rocks"...and a jackhammer to Dolph's. (poor guy)

Anyway, we never really said there was anything WRONG with the rocks persay...other than with all the "rockin an rolling" going on...the rest of the plotline is singin the blues.

lol. well, we don't know richard had "rocks" to start out with.

I actualy thought the book had a real plot this time. it just focused on sex so much because of belle morte being the main focus baddie. i also enjoyed there being more vampire politics than police work, too, although i am proud of zerbrowski for making sargeant.

Oh Richard had "rocks" all right. With him, it was really just a matter of which head he was carrying them in. Plus, he's just a keen example of how bloody insane we women can drive men should be ever be properly motivated. Less messy than the Lorraina method too.

To each their own I guess....personally I'm looking forward to more of the "feds" business coming into play in the next books. International intrigue. Anita Blake as Jamie Bond: double "o" deadhead. "looks up at the tech crew as Mission Impossible begins to play over the sound speakers" WRONG MOVIE, dummy!

"muffled" Sorry!

"looks back at crowd" Ok, everyone practice their one-handed draw....right, get now around the door. Oh WATCH OUT. Dodge that flying wombat...they're feisty!

In all honesty I am glad to focus more on the vamipre politics and even the shapeshifter's than the police work. The first time I read the book the police are an okay part but when I reread them I tend to get bored with the mystery aspect.
