Subject: Positives anyone?

I don't know about anyone else but I was a little disappointed with the game last night. Of course there are positives, but there were some disturbing trends. Perhaps it was the finals pressure, because I wasn't overly rapt in the Swans game either. It seemed such a struggle at times to find free space in both games and it looks as though we will be facing those tactics in a lot of games this year as the opposition coaches try to find a way to shut down our midfield because they can't compete.

I hope we don't find most of our games being played against us like that this season, because it was just so frustrating to watch.

I'm not happy with Hardwicks discipline (tripping) even though it was soft and I hope he doesn't get treated too harshly by the tribunal. Lade looked to have a bit of an injury - didn't look serious but still not good. We need him come round one. Derek Murray actually kicked straight and got a goal. I luv him and he's quick getting into the packs but he stuffs up a lot. I think he redeemed himself a bit under pressure last night. There's no doubt he puts his body on the line for the club.

I think Tredders or Wanganeen deserved the medal. Nick was good but he's another who stuffs up under pressure at times. I would have given it to Wangas.

What was that trophy. The Ansett Cup one was much nicer. The Wizard cup looked more like a wok than a cup. Very weird.

I had cow supporters today telling me that it's only back to back pretend cups, doesn't mean anything. Yesterday they said they would watch the game to barrack for the Tigers and said we'd get our butts kicked. At least we beat the Tigers at Colonial - what happened to the cows the week before.
