He listened to every word, feeling as if he had lived the same life. Which he had. Upon freeze's request of a story, He lay next to him and stare out at the volcano.
"When we first left my father was horrificly saddened by the loss of Alanna. It was I who had to lead him through it. he showed how much caring meant to him, which, i might add, unfortunately got into me. As we travelled we met up with a loner female, named Vix. My father took a liking to her but could never love another after Alanna. But...Freeze...I like her. She liked me. She was alot like me, yet she had sense. I loved her beautiful white pelt, hre soft blue eyes, that laugh..." he stopped and closed his eyes, then sighed. "We fell in love. Can you imagine? Me, falling in love?! It was amazing. We had a litter of three pups, and Muafae was one of them. Yes, I know Kinz told you a different story, but muafae is my son. Kinz was apalled at me for started a new life and leaving him alone. Kinz wandered off and was alone for a year wile me and Vix lived happily in our territory. But disaster struck. Fire caught to the forest, and the pups were scorched. You notice how Muafae's coat didn't look, natural? it wa sbecause his fur used to be pearl white, but the fire charred it black. The other whelps were lost, we were trying to move them but could only get muafae out." he sighed, and it looked as if he were about to cry."Vix was badly burnt. Her leg was taken by the flames, her face and entire body deprived of the fur and charred to a crisp...i was with her when she died..." Tears streamed from his eyes but he kept going."Kinz met up with me again after about three months. I told him my experience with the fire, and he tried to comfort me but it old him it was no sue. Muafae came with us, but he never accepted the "pack life" His mind had been altered b ythe smoke, which had made him soft and quiet. Anyways, this experience had told on my soul, woke it up, made me realize things that I'd never seen before..." He looked to Freeze. "And I'm here now"
