Answer to Vileblume's Question

Kaamos is right. The score doesn't necessarily mean that a person is doing well at all.

The score comes from how many Home Worlds (HW's) you have, how many mines and drones they have but mostly from how many and how big your ships are.

Destroyers (DD's) give you lots of points, Battle Cruisers (BC's) fewer points and Fighters (FF's), hardly any points at all.

This means that somebody with 10 DD's with low level technology research, and one HW might have more points than another with 20 BC's with maximum technology research and missiles and 10 HW's. But the one with the lower points in this case could actually be ahead because of the research they have done and the fact that a ship maxed out in research can easily beat a larger ship with lower research.

The longer the game goes on, the less important the points become so that after the first couple of hundred turns, points really don't tell you much at all.

It's quite possible that even though I have a lot of points right now, that some of the others may be far ahead of me.

So don't let the points thing worry you. The winner is the last one standing, not the one with the most points.
