Leaping aside, he is almost too late. Claws o' one gryphon slash his flank. Wound, however, is shallow, and winged steed pays it no heed. Although he wastes no words, his message is clear: Neither, thank you! Launching neatly into the air, silken pelt o' ashen hue, lined with pale gold and pink, brightens; the glow is gold, a mere shade away from orange. Shooting past gryphons, a glowing streak, intent is to blind them, momentarily at least. Turning sharply once past, winged stallion swoops once more, this time o'er heads of the gryphons. Hooves pummel each head, neatly in order, in an extremely comical way. It seems that even in the most serious of circumstances, humor can always be inserted by this one. Speaking of serious, it is a state of mind into which he has been falling quite often recently. Perhaps it's part of this business of living outside of Silver Coppice. At any rate, these creatures will soon know the consequences of messing with a former Silver Coppice dweller!
