Subject: Introduce yourself

I just thought we should have a thread for chatting and getting to know one another... not compulsory of course!

I'm Zora, or in the dull grey world they call Real, I'm known as Roz. I hang out with the Danish Brotherhood here:

No we're not Danish (well mostly not) but it's a long story. Recently I've been spending far too much time here:

I'm going to have to give that up or I'll get sacked and my bf will dump me.

I've been trying to write for as long as I can remember but with a 5 year break since I started working full time and such time consuming hobbies went out of the window. I've recently grit my teeth and decided to get back into it but I'm finding it really hard to 'find my voice'.

I'm drawing up plans for a fantasy novel, but although it might seem at first like the easiest of all genres, it's actually very hard, because you have to invent EVERYTHING, and to do that whilst being original is a tall order.

I'm hoping that this board will help me to improve my work and give me the chance to meet other people with similar aspirations (and problems?).
