Interesting concept, Elandal! I like the characterisations of the Void and the Life Stream. I was getting reveberations of various creation myths, and thinking it would be nice to give these beings names, as people have always done with gods, (I was particularly thinking of the american indian father god Grandfather Mantis)

however - although naming them in this way would make them more accessible, it would also be less original...? something to think about anyway.

Conversely, I think your 4 races would be more interesting if they weren't elves, dwarves etc (hold onto Men because people need to identify) - perhaps you could base them around these races but give them different names and vary their attributes so that people don't quite know what to expect.

Altogether I loved your writing style and I thought the story flowed really nicely.
