Sounds like the fortifier would be a nail strengthener. Be careful with them. Long term use can cause your nails to dry out and break because too much moisture has been taken out. You need a moisturizer and I recommend Amera's Cuticle Mousse to add nutrition to nails, even when you are using a strengthener. Remember you can not use a nail strengthener indefinitly. After awhile you need to find a maintance level.
