Subject: Why Amera?

Amera is not a recognized name in most parts of the country. I found the company quite by accident. I love the history behind them. A female pediatric dentist founded the company. She was washing her hands 200 times a day and was on the verge of having to quit because her hands were such a mess. She tried over the counter products and found some good products, but nothing that worked together. She, with the help of a dermatologist, developed the products and let her friends use them to see how they worked. They encouraged her to market the products.
Her focus was on getting the hands, nails, and cuticles healthy. The product has not been put on a shelf in a store because she also wanted the clients to be educated about their nails when learning how to use the products. That is what makes Amera so unique.
I find most young women don't know how to give themselves a basic water manicure. The first remark I get when seeing someone who is interested in taking care of their nails will be "Oh, I can't get a manicure, I don't have any nails." It tell them, it isn't about length when getting a manicure. From there I can give them a manicure and teach them why you don't bite your nails and why the cuticle is there and why you don't cut it. They are enthralled while I am telling them this because they are interested and informed at the same time.
It is a product that can be used at home and in the salon.
