You are not bugging me. Unfortunately, explaining Amera products can be difficult over the internet.
The Mousse will help the existing nail a bit. Imagine a dry sponge you immerse into a glass of water with about 1 inch of water. Imagine the nail being the sponge and the water the Mousse. It will absorb some, but the nail that is being manufactured in the Matrix will be what gets the benefit of the Moussse. You are correct in that in about 3-6 months (depending on how fast your nail grows) you will have a completely nourished, hydrated nail.
Do not be discouraged in about 6-10 weeks if your nails start to break. If you are being faithful with your moussing, your old, dry nail may break off.
Dry nails don't bend, they break. We want a nail that will be strong, but also bend.
Signs of dry nails are almost always, breaking at the stress area (where the free edge meets the nail bed)and peeling.
Remember, do not use your nails as tools.
If you will read a majority of this web site, you will be pretty familiar with the Amera line. If you buy a basic system, a step by step brochure comes with it. Also, as a customer of mine, you will receive the newsletter when it comes out.
You can email me privately with any questions too.
