Thanks for your reply. I've only been using Amera for a few weeks, so I'm sure my nails are still suffering from dryness. The peeling is just on my thumb, index, and middle fingers of both hands, I guess before these are the ones I use more. However, just using the Amera products for a few days, I noticed a big improvement.

I had a salon manicure last week, and the tech applied Nailtiques formula 2 to help with the peeling. I've been reapplying this every day. I've used this product before, and it does a fair job. The tech suggested keeping the Nailtiques on for a week, then removing it (at which point I'll give myself a manicure following your suggestions to file and buff the peeling), and then reapplying for another week. Then I will go in for another salon manicure.

From what you have said and from what I know, my peeling problem is probably due to dryness in my nails, wear and tear on my nails, and perhaps even nutritional deficiencies. I'm doing the hydration routine, trying not to use my nails as tools, trying to wear gloves, keeping my nails manicured, trying to drink lots of water, trying to eat right, and taking vitamin supplements. I'll keep you posted as to my progress.

In wouldn't mind buying some of the Natural Nail to try out. I may like it better. Can I purchase it from you, Mary? Let me know how to go about this. Thanks.
