Unfortunately it takes about 72 hours just to get visible free edge if you have none, so............your nails will grow back in a few weeks, but not as fast as you would like them.
If you will start giving yourself regular manicures and take care of your nails, you will find the extra attention to them will encourage them to grow faster. Have fun at your dance.
