I would switch to a better brand of polish and recommend you use all the products from the same system (base, color(optional) and top. Out the Door is more for acrylics for a quick dry. Lacquers are your better quality (OPI, Amera,Estee Lauder, etc.) What are your real nails like? Are they weak and bendy? If they are, you need a strengthener for awhile. Nails bend, polish doesn't. Shattering polish can be a sign of abuse to the nails. Like when you hit a window it will shatter. Polish sometimes does that.
